The Caring Clinic was opened in April 1978 in a shop and dwelling premises a few doors away, at 451 Hawthorn Road.
By 1980, we had grown to become a two-vet practice, and in February 1981 we relocated to the current address after transforming and renovating a three-bedroom house.
In 1990, we became a three-vet practice and have remained so ever since.
In the early years we also provided veterinary services for horses from a branch practice in Narre Warren.
In 2009 we vacated our clinic site to undertake demolation and building of a new practice.
While rebuilding we conducted the clinic from next door at 1 Brooklyn Avenue.
In October 2011 we returned to 463 Hawthorn Road, into a new purpose built clinic with the capacity for more surgery, more diagnostics, and better client education.
We are extremely excited about our new site and happily show it to anyone interested.Our clinic provides medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, as well as birds, and other small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats and ferrets. Our reception area provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We have a complete range of quality pet care products ¿ the most effective flea control, worming medications, shampoos, collars, leads, etc.
We also recommend, sell and feed our hospitalised patients the Hills Science and Prescription diets.
